Description:

Northern Europe, Viking / Norse cultures, ca. 9th to 11th century CE. A beautiful ensemble of Viking-era glass beads fashioned into wearable works of art. The pair of earrings have a thin silver-plated suspension pin, four orange-hued beads, and a large sapphire-blue octahedron bead, all of which are vertically pierced. A lengthy bracelet showcases round glass beads of various sizes and in a multitude of light- and dark-orange colors, with one globular bead being as brilliantly-blue as those on the accompanying earrings; a similar silver-plated hook and loop are on either end. Strung in modern times, these pieces of jewelry are absolutely wearable and stylish as well! Size of bracelet: 7.5" L (19 cm); size of each earring: 7.5" L x 1.5" H (19 cm x 3.8 cm).
