Description:

Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, 21st to 22nd Dynasty, ca. 1070 to 720 BCE. A hand-built faience ushabti covered in brown-hued glaze that was originally green. Bands of black paint create the head wrap, lappets, and seed bag while also forming the column of hieroglyphs down the legs that reads, "The Osiris, the god's father and prophet of Amun, Neshor." Size: 1.33" L x 1.49" W x 4.11" H (3.4 cm x 3.8 cm x 10.4 cm); 5.31" H (13.5 cm) on included custom stand.
