Ancient Near East, Byzantine Empire, Early Medieval Period, ca. 6th to 9th century CE. A set of gilt silver earrings and ring shaped from 90% silver featuring lovely polychrome mosaic glass beads from ancient Byzantium. Each earring is fitted with a glass bead beneath a pair of modern carnelian beads, and the ring is adorned with a deep red, orange, and green glass bead. The colorful compositions of the beads makes them stand out gracefully against the gilt silver settings!   • Condition: Wearable as shown and constructed in modern times. Glass beads are ancient; gilt silver settings and carnelian beads are modern. Small chips to some glass beads, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to glass coloration.

Our shippers of choice are DHL for International shipments and UPS for domestic shipments, but we are able to ship via other carriers at the buyer's expense as deemed necessary or by request.

For shipments of oversize items, Artemis Gallery will assist the buyer in working with a third-party shipping provider. For shipments outside of the USA, customs and duties may apply upon entry into said country, and this fee, if any, is the buyer's responsibility.
