Native American, Canada and North America, Pacific Northwest Coast, Inuit, ca. mid-20th century CE; Europe, Germany, Henley & Co., ca. mid-20th century CE. A set of German steel carving utensils - a knife and a fork with a hinge clamp - attached with Inuit walrus ivory handles, each showing a good-luck figure called a Billiken. A sticker reading "GENUINE IVORY | ESKIMO MADE" is adhered to the side of each handle. Size of largest (knife): 12.1" L x 1.7" W (30.7 cm x 4.3 cm)

This is a pre-Act piece of walrus ivory under the MMPA and cannot be sold internationally or to anyone residing in the states of California, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington. We guarantee that the piece was made prior to 1972.
