Memorabilia. Disney Cinderella Film Canister - Buena Vista Pictures Distribution, Canada, ca. mid 20th century CE. A film canister used to deliver film to studios, this one for Walt Disney's classic "Cinderella" ("Cendrillon") - a 1950 American animated musical fantasy technicolor film based on the fairy tale Cendrillon by Charles Perrault. Disney's Cinderella, the 12th Disney animated feature film, received three Academy Award nominations, including one for the unforgettable song "Bibbidy-Bobbidi-Boo". A wonderful piece of memorabilia that once held reels for this romantic film about the girl in rags - a slave to her wicked stepmother and stepsisters with no hope of attending the royal ball until her fairy godmother made her dreams come true with a wave of her magic wand. Size: 8.5" L x 15.5" W x 16.75" H (21.6 cm x 39.4 cm x 42.5 cm)

Who can forget those dramatic Cinderella moments - when suddenly, dressed in a beautiful gown, she rode in a carriage transformed from a pumpkin and danced with Prince Charming in the castle. Then the clock struck 12 and our princess had no recourse but to race down the stairs to her coach, leaving a glass slipper behind to head back to her somber reality until the Prince places the glass slipper upon her dainty foot. Classic and romantic!

  • Condition: Canister is dented and weathered as would be expected, but it still opens and closes and the latch works. Old labels still attached including one from Montreal, Canada dating to 1988, presumably the last time this canister was used.

    Making music happen since 2009…

Today, Musack's mission is to give kids and teens a voice through music by providing guitars, drums, and support for music teachers - wherever the need arises.

But back in 2009, Emmy-Award winning writer/producer Donick Cary (Letterman /Simpsons / Parks and Recreation /Silicon Valley) began Musack with a simple vision - raise money to fund musical programs for his hometown high school on Nantucket Island. After a rash of teen suicides on the island, Donick thought about how he and his friends got through their teen years. Music.

Musack continues to make music happen around the world with support from people like you. All lots offered for sale in today’s fundraising auction have been donated by celebrities, non-celebrities, and local businesses. Help us help our kids - bid high, bid often!
