Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Teotihuacan/Mixtec/Mayan, ca. 300 BCE to 1000 CE. Very interesting framed grouping of Pre-Columbian heads and a few torsos and other fragments. Composed primarily of fine Teotihuacan heads in their classic triangular form along with an interesting "bird man" head, complete Teotihuacan pottery bead in human form, small pottery frog, and a Colima head with headband. Size: Largest head measures 2"H; all mounted in shadow box frame measuring 17"W x 13"H. Provenance: Ex-private Martine collection, Centennial, CO, acquired by family descent in 2002; previously acquired by relatives in Mexico in 1950's and brought into United States in early 1970's.
