This taupe-colored Megalodon shark tooth, measuring over 5 inches (13.1 cm), boasts a smooth enamel surface with some serrations still intact, enhancing its quality and appeal. Its natural coloration is a result of the minerals and chemicals present in the water and sediment during fossilization, creating the taupe hue. Megalodons, which lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago, were the largest sharks to ever roam the oceans, with powerful jaws capable of crushing a small car.
