Roman, Republic to Imperial Period, & Greece / Magna Graecia, Sicily, ca. 400 BCE to 300 CE. This collection includes five ancient bronze and copper alloy coins from the Greek and Roman Classical World. Among them is an AE As (assarius) struck under Antoninus Pius between 148 and 152 CE. Obverse: Faustina draped bust facing right. Reverse: Venus standing left, holding a scepter and a rudder entwined with a dolphin. A pseudo-autonomous issue from Alexandria Troas, from the mid-3rd century CE. Obverse: turreted and draped bust of Tyche. Reverse: grazing horse. An AE Litra coin from Sicily. Obverse: Athena wearing a Corinthian helmet. Reverse: a hippocamp facing left. The group also includes two AE Dupondius coins, one from the reign of Domitian. Our shippers of choice are DHL for International shipments and UPS for domestic shipments, but we are able to ship via other carriers at the buyer's expense as deemed necessary or by request.

For shipments of oversize items, Artemis Gallery will assist the buyer in working with a third-party shipping provider. For shipments outside of the USA, customs and duties may apply upon entry into said country, and this fee, if any, is the buyer's responsibility.
