Inukitut syllabics for an unknown artist are stitched in a corner. Nivingajuliaat are traditional Inuit wall hangings or applique art pieces that depict Arctic wildlife, daily life, and cultural stories through vibrant, layered fabric designs. Originally made with animal skins and sinew, modern versions often use wool felt and embroidery, serving as a medium for preserving and sharing Inuit heritage. These artworks are highly valued within Inuit communities and by art collectors globally for their cultural and artistic significance.
