Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st century CE. A beautifully preserved redware oil lamp with a planta pedis maker's mark on the underside. In the discus is a raised relief representation of a fountain inside an ornate vase. A small spout extends from one side; there is no handle. A pretty pearlescent patina is on the surface. Size: 3.95" L x 2.7" W x 0.95" H (10 cm x 6.9 cm x 2.4 cm)
