Description:

Roman, late Republic to early Imperial Period, ca. late 1st century BCE to 1st century CE. A lovely bowl that is free-blown from translucent glass of a soft turquoise color. The flat-bottomed vessel features gently expanding walls and a thick rim, and two wheel-cut striations decorate the basin surfaces along the midsection and just beneath the rim. Thin layers of silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence gracefully accentuate the bowl's blue-green coloration. Size: 5.8" W x 1.7" H (14.7 cm x 4.3 cm)
