Description:

Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Dine (Navajo), ca. late 20th century CE. This beautiful rug is crafted from sheep wool in the iconic "Two Grey Hills" style, known for its solid border, harmoniously balanced corner elements, and a striking central stepped diamond motif. A superb example of Navajo weaving, this rug would make a stunning addition to any collection of Native American textiles, and displays only a few minor fiber pulls but is otherwise very clean, suggesting it was likely used as a wall hanging. Size: 44" L x 33.5" W (111.8 cm x 85.1 cm)
