Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran and southeastern Turkey, Tepe Siaulk (Sialk) culture, late Bronze to Iron Age, ca. 3000 to 1000 BCE. A superb hemispherical pottery bowl with umber-hued linear motifs painted on the interior. Tepe Sialk is an archaeological site, specifically the region of Kashan, believed to have been inhabited as far back as the 6th millennium BCE. These pottery artifacts are notable for their intricate designs and craftsmanship, showcasing the artistic and technological advancements of their time.
