Description:

**First Time At Auction**

A graceful ceramic seed jar made using the coil and scrape method, with a narrow, round opening at its top center and a tapering, rounded body with a flat base. The surface is white with remains of black pigment around the upper body. Seed jars were originally made to protect seeds from pests and extreme temperature fluctuations.
