The music box mechanism is by Thorens, a Swiss company, and the box plays the song "Barcarolle" automatically when opened. The wind-up knob is on the base of the box with an "Offenthal" brand sticker, a French leather goods and jewelry maker. Size: 7" L x 5" W x 5.5" H (17.8 cm x 12.7 cm x 14 cm)
