Description:

Etruria or Corinth, Ca 6th century BCE. Pointed aryballos with conical body tapering to the narrow ring base. Top of mouth flat, mouth and shoulder with tongues, body with black encircling bands with incised hanging and upright semi-circles with double outlines. 3-3/4"H (9.6 cm). Along with a Canosan terracotta bird votive. Finely molded bird with clear features and remains of original pink pigment. 3-1/2"H x 5.4"L (8,7 cm x 13,7 cm)

Provenance: Ex UK collection acquired in the 1980's.
