Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st century CE. An elegantly-shaped cast bronze cup, roughly ovoid in form, with a slightly turned out rim and sharply flanged base above a round, disc foot. This item was used for drinking, probably in a domestic setting, and is of a style that would be replaced by glass soon thereafter. Size: 2.8" W x 2.65" H (7.1 cm x 6.7 cm)
