Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. An elegant, well-preserved redware bottle with a teardrop-shaped body, a narrow, flat base, and a wide, flaring rim around a narrow mouth. The body has aged to have beautiful manganese deposits on much of the surface. The surface is a glossy, earthy red. Size: 4.35" W x 9" H (11 cm x 22.9 cm)

Provenance: ex-private J.G. collection, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, acquired before 1975
