Description:

Native American, Midwestern United States, Eastern Woodland Period, ca. 5000 BCE to 1000 CE. An ensemble of 8 hand-knapped stone tools of oblong forms, each with sharpened edges intended for cutting. Seven of the tools were found in Missouri while one was discovered in Fulton County, Illinois. Each tool was perhaps used by hand or was secured to the end of a wooden pole or handle. Size of largest: 3.9" L x 1.6" W x 0.7" H (9.9 cm x 4.1 cm x 1.8 cm)
