Egypt, New Kingdom, ca. 1500 BCE. A glazed faience standing male dwarf figure of blue-green hues with black and cobalt blue highlights and a wide suspension loop on the back of the neck as it was intended to be worn as an amulet. The piece presents a nice form, standing upon bent knees and holding small knives in hands across waist. Custom stand. Size: figure itself measures 2.25" H (5.7 cm)

Provenance: Ex-Collection of Vincent Funiciello, Brooklyn, NY, 1930s-1970s.
