Egypt, Late Dynastic to Ptolemaic Period, ca. 664 to 30 BCE. A mold-formed faience right hand with finely detailed nail beds and curled fingers with a small gap between the thumb and index finger. The white composition still exhibits faint remains of its original blue-green glazing and hints at just how attractive this hand - and the rest of the figure - would have looked when first created. Size: 1.05" L x 0.5" W (2.7 cm x 1.3 cm)
