Egyptian, Late Dynastic Period, dynasties 26 through 30, ca. 662 to 315 BCE. Lovely wood and gesso mask from a wooden sarcophagus. Fine carved facial features, painted eyes and original dowels. Nice example! Size: 9" W x 8.5" H (22.9 cm x 21.6 cm)
