Egypt, Amarna Period, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1353-1336 BCE. A stunning faience and carnelian stone necklace, as stunning as the time period from which it hails. Composed of two strands of tubular and spacer faience beads separated by carved carnelian stones, with the center stone having been shaped into a 14-sided pendant. The incredibly deep blues highlighted with the luscious red carnelian, this necklace is ready to stun in the 21st century! Approx. 22"L.
