A stunning repousse rendering of Hathor, the goddess of music, love, dance, and motherhood, and one of the oldest Egyptian deities dating back to the Old Kingdom period (ca. 2686 to 2181 BCE) finely rendered from 20K+ gold sheet. The goddess' visage presents with elegant features such as almond-shaped eyes with elongated canthi, a broad nose, full lips, delicate pointed chin, and slender bovine-form ears, all framed by a tripartite wig above a semicircular broad collar. A beautiful talisman from ancient Egypt. Gold quality: 89.5% gold, equivalent to over 20K. Size: 2" W x 2.375" H (5.1 cm x 6 cm); 3.625" H (9.2 cm) on included custom stand. Weight: 1.7 grams.
