Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Bahia culture ca. 500 BCE/CE. A very expressive pottery feline looking as if he is ready to pounce on his next victim. Mouth opened baring large fangs, claws ready to scratch and rip to shreds anything in their path, incised decorations on the body. A very cute example! Size: 2.75" W x 2" H (7 cm x 5.1 cm)
