Cena W. (Native American, Zuni, late 19th to early 20th century). 2 painted pottery dishes, n.d. Both signed "Cena W. Zuni N.M." on the underside of bases. A pleasing pair of Zuni pottery pieces: a jar and a salt bowl. First, the jar presents a round yet stable base and tall walls, all enveloped in creamy beige slip and adorned with 4 panels of geometric imagery arranged horizontally. Alternatively, the salt dish presents a bulbous body with a convex lid, all covered in white slip with phytomorphic motifs on the body and rows of triangles on the lid. Size of larger (jar): 4.5" Diameter x 4" H (11.4 cm x 10.2 cm)

- Condition: Both signed "Cena W. Zuni N.M." on underside of base, and have expected nicks and abrasions to surface as shown. Otherwise, salt bowl and jar are intact with good remains of pigment and decoration.
