Native American, Western United States, Southern Plains, Kiowa culture, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A pairs of leggings made from leather with a lengthy fringe and beadwork along the ankle hem. This would have covered the top of the moccasins and calf / shin area of the wearer. Size: 19" L x 6" W (48.3 cm x 15.2 cm)

  • Condition: Perforations through the leather upper on one. Staining and discoloration to leather - Large dark stains from knee hem to mid calf as shown. Beading is intact and excellent, and leather is supple. Light signs of wear to the interior hems.
