Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, early Moche, ca. 100 to 300 CE. A lovely blackware stirrup vessel in the form of a globular fruit or vegetable, enveloped in petite, protruding nodules, as well as incised, vertical striations. A tubular stirrup spout rises from the top, terminating in a folded rim. Size: 6.1" Diameter x 8.6" H (15.5 cm x 21.8 cm)
