Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona and New Mexico, Hopi Pueblo; Laguna Pueblo, ca. 19th to 20th century CE. A wonderful pair of polychrome pottery vessels, a Hopi Polacca style hemispherical bowl and a wide-shouldered olla, both adorned with colorful geometric designs on a white ground. Size of larger (olla): 6.1" Diameter x 4" H (15.5 cm x 10.2 cm)

  • Condition: Professional repair and restoration to rim of olla with repainting over break line and stable hairline fissure extending down wall. Both have some light surface wear with areas of fire-darkening, nicks, and abrasions as shown. Otherwise, bowl is intact and both have nice presentations and great pigments.
