Ancient Near East, Anatolia (modern day Turkey), ca. 4th to 3rd millennium BCE. An impressive carved-stone idol presenting in a hue of creamy white. The ancient figure stands on two legs spread apart and presents a rectangular body that tapers towards its top. A minimalistic visage is carved into the upper half of the sculpture, featuring an open smile and two annular eyes. Each long side is fixed with two circular drill holes, while two additional apertures are displayed along the top periphery. Size: 1" W x 2.875" H (2.5 cm x 7.3 cm)
