Native American, New Mexico, west of Albuquerque, Acoma, ca. 1930s CE. A handsome pair of Acoma polychrome potteries, the pitcher with lovely floral and geometric motifs slip-painted in chocolate brown, white, and orange hues, a twisted coil handle in white, the neck and angled spout in orange. The bowl presents a handsome twin bird motif on the tondo, finely painted in that same color scheme of chocolate brown, white, and orange, and a carved, scalloped rim. A lovely pair of early Acoma vessels. Size: pitcher measures 5" W x 8" H (12.7 cm x 20.3 cm); bowl measures 6.875" W x 2.375" H (17.5 cm x 6 cm)
