A hand-carved wooden model of an outrigger canoe complete with a lengthy canoe body and a tapered float connected via a pair of slender outrigger booms fastened with braided thread. The canoe has a single platform seat in the center, indicating this model depicts a single passenger vessel. Fine patina envelops the entire sculptural model. Lucite display stand for photography purposes only. Size (w/ outrigger booms): 8.4" L x 4.875" W (21.3 cm x 12.4 cm)

  • Condition: Wooden seat reattached to sides of canoe, with light adhesive residue beneath lateral flanges. Minor nicks to canoe body, float, and outrigger booms, with light encrustations, and light staining to some components. Light earthen deposits and nice patina throughout.
