A skillfully crafted and painted plaster anatomical model of a cross and sagittal section of human bone with the original "Mueller-Ward" brass attached to the lower right corner of the black base. An impressive histology model examining the microscopic anatomy of cells and tissues of human bone. Dr. Justus Frederick Mueller was a professor at Syracuse University School of Medicine, editor of the Journal of Parasitology, and the 1973 recipient of the American Society of Parasitologist's Henry B. Ward award. He also published a manual of drawing for science students in 1935 and "How To Be a Parasitologist Without Really Trying" (1972). Size: 9" x 9" x 6-1/4" (22.9 x 22.9 x 15.9 cm)
