Native American, Plains Indians, probably the Dakotas, ca. 1930s to 1950s CE. A sweet pair of beaded moccasins made for a toddler, lane-stitched with sinew and glass beads, each decorated with red and blue tipi motifs upon a white ground encircling the foot and a large blue, yellow, red, and green chevron across the vamp, also with a white ground, both with rawhide soles, upper instep, tongue, and laces. Size: soles measure 4.25" L x 2" W at widest (10.8 cm x 5.1 cm)
