Native American, Pacific Northwest Coast, Haida, ca. early 1920s CE. A hand-carved wooden ladle with an ovoid body, a thick rim surrounding the shallow basin, and an integral handle with a hooked terminal that resembles an abstract bird head. Nice patina is visible across the composition. Size: 4.3" W x 7.125" H (10.9 cm x 18.1 cm); 8.125" H (20.6 cm) on included custom stand.
