North Africa, Morocco, High Atlas Mountains, Middle Jurassic (Bajocian), ca. 172 to 168 million years ago. A beautiful three-dimensional display of a Harpoceras ammonite on the left and a Phylloceras sp. ammonite. These species are found together in the Middle Jurassic Bajocian sediments of the Central High Atlas mountains in Morocco. Each ammonite shows rare shell detail as well as full inflation with no distortion. Size: 12.75" W x 6.6" H (32.4 cm x 16.8 cm)
