Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A flat pottery figure (although with details fully around the body) from the West Mexican shaft tomb culture. This is a portrayal of a standing pregnant woman who wears nothing but a necklace, earrings, and a flat headdress. Her body has a high level of detail, including charming kneecaps and straight plaits of hair. Size: 2.6" W x 6.6" H (6.6 cm x 16.8 cm)
