Description:

Greece, Cypriot, ca. 1800-1725 BCE. Middle Cypriot II white painted ware jug, the ovoid body on a flat offset base, the cylindrical neck with a bulge at its base, with a flat rim and a double reed loop handle, the body and neck decorated in brown with geometric bands of crosshatched triangles and lozenges.  Simply exquisite!  Size: 8-1/4"H (20.9 cm) .
