With its tall tripod support legs, this type of vessel is sometimes referred to as a "spider pot" or a "chocolate pot,". This particular example has pendant looped handles and legs in the form of finely detailed wild cats with whimsical whiskers. Each leg also has an open slit that contains a rattle ball.
