Gabe Feenan (American, contemporary) ca. 2017 CE. Blown & hot glass assembled sculpture. The base and top are blown, with an opening in the base and larger opening on the conical finial. Lacey cane patterns in opaque white soften the inverted cone to balance the forms below. Feenan's work focuses on light play and stacked geometric shapes that often feature spheres, cones, and cylinders. Feenan has been featured as a visiting artist and resident gaffer at the Tacoma Washington Museum of Glass since 2002. Size: 8" Diameter x 20" H (20.3 cm x 50.8 cm)
