Description:

Rome, Ca. 337-361 CE. Obv: Profile of Constantius. Rev: Laurel wreath surrounded by swastikas indicating peace. From attached note: "Using his military skill and devotion to duty, Constantia's II, the middle son of Constantine I "the Great" and his second wife, became the sole ruler of the Roman Empire. Skirmishes with the Persians continued throughout his reign. The sheer size and frequent raids on all portions of the empire, meant that he needed someone to share the burden of ruling.
