Description:

Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. An intriguing redware pottery multi-vessel comprised of 5 footed cups that are joined with thick lateral bars spanning between the feet. The foot of the uppermost vessel was conjoined around its lower body to the rims of the 4 cups underneath. This type of vessel was perhaps used in ritual ceremonies. Size: 10.8" L x 10" W x 5.75" H (27.4 cm x 25.4 cm x 14.6 cm)
