Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built and stone-burnished pottery female figure standing nude atop lengthy ovoid feet. The woman holds both attenuated arms out from rounded shoulders and holds her head high to showcase her slender, aquiline nose and impressed eyes. Vibrant red-orange slip decorates the surfaces of this ancient figure. Size: 2.8" L x 7.7" W x 11.25" H (7.1 cm x 19.6 cm x 28.6 cm)
