Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built pottery female figure of characteristically flat form shown seated with a knee-length skirt covering her outstretched legs. Both arms are held over her bared breasts, and both her head and neck are adorned with impressed decorative bands. Size: 4.4" W x 6.7" H (11.2 cm x 17 cm)

  • Condition: Repaired across the waist, with small chips and light adhesive residue along break lines. Minor nicks and abrasions, with light softening to some finer details, and earthen deposits in scattered areas. Nice preservation to seated form.
