Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima culture, ca. 200 BCE to 200 CE. This a very special shaft tomb figure, representing a female who is clearly pregnant. She is adorned with a headdress or cap, ear ornaments, a pectoral, and a snug fitting garment with patterned fringe hugging her baby bump. Size: 3.75" W x 6.625" H (9.5 cm x 16.8 cm); 7.25" H (18.4 cm) on included custom stand.
