Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built pottery female figure standing atop delineated legs and holding both arms to her abdomen. Her nude body is decorated with polychrome pigments that give her a spotted presentation, and her broad hat gives her the impression of being of a higher class or wealth. Size: 2.75" W x 6.8" H (7 cm x 17.3 cm); 7.1" H (18 cm) on included custom stand.

  • Condition: Professional repair to right shoulder that is nearly invisible. Minor abrasions and fading to pigment, with small nicks in scattered areas, otherwise in very good condition. Nice remains of pigment throughout.
