From the ancient Colima region of Pre-Columbian West Mexico, circa 200 BCE / 200 CE. This example measures approximately 4" tall, and depicts a female. She is shown wearing a large beaded necklace, ear spools, a nose ornament, and an ornate hair style. There are faint remnants of original black pigment depicting an arm band on her left arm. NOTE: The display stand is not included; for photographing purposes only. Provenance: Former Arizona, USA private collection.   • Condition: Repaired (re-glued) breaks at both arms and across the waist separating the legs. Minor loss, abrasions, chipping, weathering and wear overall, with Manganese blooms as evidence of age and authenticity.
