Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, Autlan type, Protoclassic Period, ca. 100 BCE to 250 CE. A hand-built pottery female figure wearing a low skirt around her waist as well as an applied beaded necklace around her neck and atop her chest. Her characteristic visage exhibits coffee-bean-shaped eyes, a petite mouth, and tab-shaped ears, all beneath a backswept coiffure. Size: 0.9" L x 2.7" W x 8.3" H (2.3 cm x 6.9 cm x 21.1 cm); 8.7" H (22.1 cm) on included custom stand.
