Greece, Athens, Attic, ca. 5th century BCE; Magna Graecia, South Italic Colonies, Campania, ca. second half of 4th century BCE; Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A set of 5 Greek pottery artifacts including 3 vessels and 2 female heads. The first female head dons a lengthy veil atop her coiffure, and the second exhibits a coiffure that extends out and up from above her forehead. A slender lekythos features a trio of tall palmette leaves. The bowl and plate each have a squat foot and surfaces adorned with lustrous, jet-black glaze. Size of largest (bowl): 6.25" L x 6.3" W x 1.7" H (15.9 cm x 16 cm x 4.3 cm)
