A pristine stylized anthropomorphic axe god figure of a Type M-12 variant that is hand-carved from serpentine, with creamy white inclusions. The figure stands upon delineated, tapered legs, holds arms parallel to his rounded torso, and bears a pronounced neckline above angled shoulders. The elongated head features characteristic string-cut features such as bulging brows, a broad, crested nose, tapered cheeks & chin, and a softened elliptical mouth. The triangular head emphasizes the dynamic silhouette and noble profile of the idol. An exemplary rendition in remarkable preservation! Size: 3.25" L x 1.35" W (8.3 cm x 3.4 cm)
